CY WEGMAN, PRESIDENT SY64, LLC

 

Cy Wegman is President and Founder of SY64, LLC an analytics consulting firm specializing in empirical modeling, optimization, design of experiments and data analysis. Cy retired from Procter & Gamble (P&G) in 2015 after a 38 year career. Cy is a member of the P&G Engineering Prism Society, the highest award for a P&G engineer, representing approximately 2% of P&G engineers. Cy became a member by profitably applying his technical mastery that resulted in annual savings of hundreds of millions of dollars over his career.

 

From 1996 to2015 Cy was the Empirical Modeling and Optimization Global leader where he led, designed and executed all design of experiment (DOE) and process definition courses for P&G. He supported P&G business units around the world in the area of empirical modeling. His work included building empirical models from the molecular scale to full scale as well as material, formulation, process, packaging and consumer models. From 1986 to 1996 Cy worked in P&G’s Family Care business as a paper technology expert focusing on DOE, statistical process control and troubleshooting. He also has worked on brand initiatives, process startups, material supply and reliability. From 1977 to 1986 Cy worked in P&G’s Family Care paper manufacturing in operations and technical management. Cy has one U.S. Patent Pending for ‘Methods for Developing and Using Empirical Models’. He graduated in 1977 from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
